Christopher E. Sheehan
Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager
Chris Sheehan is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Wasmer Schroeder (WS), and is responsible for co-managing taxable strategies. He is accountable for corporate and taxable municipal allocations, security selection, and trade execution. Chris is a member of the firm’s Portfolio Management, Investment, and Credit Committees, where he works with the taxable municipal research and corporate credit departments.
Chris began his career at WS in 2006, working initially as a Portfolio Analyst and later as an Associate Portfolio Manager. He transitioned to his current position in 2012.
Chris earned his BA in Business Administration from Washington & Jefferson College and his MBA from Cleveland State University.
Born and raised in the greater Cleveland area, Chris combines his passion for sports with community service. He is a lifelong athlete and sports fan, which took root in high school where he played football and basketball. He then went on to play on the Washington and Jefferson College Men’s Basketball Team throughout his college career. In addition to serving as a youth sports coach in basketball and football, Chris regularly volunteers in charitable events such as the ALS Association’s Annual Cleveland Walk to Defeat ALS, and the Sloan Kettering Decathlon to raise funds to defeat childhood cancer.
